N95 protection masks, and Medical Masks

- IMPORTANT FDA UPDATES
A quick update, the FDA has issued guidance that Chinese n95 masks are no longer authorized for use in the US. On March 25, the FDA updated its guidance on the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for non-NIOSH approved masks. The guidance now excludes China from the list of countries whose standards for non-NIOSH approved masks have been temporarily acknowledged as acceptable for use in the US as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. All of these masks are now off the EUA from the FSA: KN95, KP100, KN100, and KP95 masks made from China.
Please note, 3M an Honeywell were approved by the FDA to manufacture N95 industrial masks for emergency use.

N95 protection masks, and Medical Masks for West Hollywood Residents . Quantities
Only the first shipment arrived and the quantities are limited. New requests will be honored on a first come first serve basis. Masks (one) are FREE to West Hollywood Residents who are disabled, senior over 60, or living in an affordable housing units. You can make a donation to offset the cost of the free ones or you can purchase them too. 10-pack medical $15 KN95 $5 each.

March 25th update:
N95 protection masks, and Medical Masks for West Hollywood Residents
We want to keep our dense community safe and help to contain spread of Covid-19 in our multi-family buildings.
Free mask to West Hollywood seniors 60 and over, disabled residents, those in affordable housing units and to be distributed to our homeless population per via Handle with Care.
We appreciate donations to help offset the cost of the masks, air freight and clearance. The medical masks are sold in box of 10 for $15. The n95 masks are $5 each and packed in box of 10 if needed. There is a limit of 1 box each to begin.
Distribution will take place on Saturday and Sunday if needed in front of the BlockParty shop at 8853 Santa Monica Blvd between 12-4 via curbside pickup. A volunteer will assist you. In case you are vulnerable or need home delivery we will organize that for Sunday or Monday. There is an outside chance the masks will hit tonight between 6-8 and then can be available Friday.

We do not want to accept cash.
These supplies to not affect any other supplies in the USA. Our overseas agents secured these supplies and we continue to try to work with all the providers who need access to additional supply.
Our goal is Keep WeHo Safe and contain the spread. Landlords may purchase up to 5 boxes.

WHO WE ARE
Jim Hieronymus is an almost 50 year resident of Westmount Drive. Jim is a partner in the BlockParty retail store on Santa Monica Blvd and an active member of the community.
Ruth Williams is a member of the Coalition for Economic Survival that was instrumental in the formation of West Hollywood Cityhood and rent control policies in the county. Known to many as the matriarch of the West Hollywood community Ruth has served on numerous commissions and community organizations. Ruth currently serves as a Public Safety Commissioner and member of the WeHo Wish Board of Directors.

Kerrigan is a local West Hollywood resident and the Senior Director of Business Affairs at Universal Music Publishing Group. In 2018 Kerrigan received the Barlin Award from the Lupus Foundation of America for his significant fundraising. Kerrigan was also one of the founding members of Trevor NextGen young professional supporting the Trevor Project.
Donna has been a resident of West Hollywood for over 30 years. Donna has served the community as a former Chair of the Public Facilities Commission as well as six years on the Public Safety Commission. Appointed to the deputy position by the late Councilmember Sal Guarriello, Donna was commonly referred to as ‘the people’s deputy'.
